The Whole Office on Tour

In short: Huge Axeman meets a work team. Groups bigger than The Dunny’s limit split across The Dunny and other Escape This rooms starting at the same time; every booking is private, which suits work teams, birthdays and parties.

Wednesday. A whole office came out today. Lanyards and everything. They called it “team building”. I called it a pilgrimage.

There were too many for one dunny. Even mine. So half of them went in my dunny and the rest went off down the hall to other rooms at the same time, to see who’d get out first. My lot were very competitive. One of them kept saying “circle back”. I have no idea what it means, but the door didn’t like it either.

Kev says it’s very popular with businesses, getting stuck in a dunny together. You learn who stays calm, who reads everything out loud and who just pulls on the handle for ten minutes. I could have told them. It’s always the manager on the handle.

The bosses are welcome. The interns are welcome. Everybody’s welcome, as long as they say nice things about the timberwork on the way out.

One of them asked me to speak at their next conference. Well, he asked Kev if the Axeman was real. Same thing.
